Michelle and Francis Mayer, Fleet Feet Baton Rouge Owners

The Plaquemine and Baton Rouge natives have been active in the fitness community for a long time. Both finishers at Ironman Arizona '07; Michelle has been active in triathlons since '03, a fitness instructor since '90 and currently teaches spin at the Charles Lamar YMCA in downtown Baton Rouge. Michelle is a graduate of St. John and LSU.

Francis, new to triathlon, has taken to multisporting quickly after his years with LSU Rugby & USA All-American rugby team in ’89 and '90. A graduate of St. Aloysius, Catholic High, LSU & Tulane, Francis is Senior Vice President of Contracting for Amedisys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMED).

The Mayers have three children; Trey 11, Ashley 9, both students at St. Aloysius and active in youth multisporting and Steven 3, who willl soon be joining his siblings @ St. Aloysius in August ‘08.

William Cheramie - Manager
     Graduate of Louisiana State University; BS Kinesiology, MS Exercise Physiology.  WIth years of experience in sports medicine and sport specific training, William provides a technical background that furthers our Fitlosophy. 

Andrew Huston 
     An active runner in the Baton Rouge area since the 7th
grade. "Wolf" attended Episcopal High School, where under the direction of
Claney Duplechin and Butch Helveston was able to be a 4-year track and
cross country letterman. After Episcopal Andrew moved onto LSU where he was
again a 4-year track letterman and 3-time All-SEC performer, as well
as earning a BS in Kinesiology; currently the Head Cross Country
Coach at Redemptorist High School and training full time on his own.
You can catch Wolf at the store, or running laps around Baton Rouge
nearly every day.

Jennifer Radecker
     A recent graduate of Louisiana State University, Jennifer majored in nutrition, minored in psychology as well as ran track and cross country for LSU for 41/2 years. After some time off, Jennifer is getting back into running and will soon begin roadracing.
