Michelle, Owner

Michelle has been active in the fitness community for many years. She has participated in triathlons since 2003 and completed the Ironman Arizona in 2007.  Michelle has been a certified fitness instructor since 1990 and currently teaches spin at the Charles Lamar YMCA in downtown Baton Rouge & Spectrum Fitness. Michelle is a graduate of St. John and LSU.   She is also a Delta Gamma Sorority Alumni. Her passion with exercise and racing has brought her full circle as she owns a great asset in Baton Rouge, a store that does more than just fits!

Megan, Marketing Director & Event Coordinator

Megan, an avid runner since early youth, has participated in numerous half marathons, sprint to half ironman distance triathlons, 10ks and 5Ks. She is a graduate of USM with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and earned a Masters Degree in Sports Marketing from LSU. She worked with the East Baton Rouge Parish Park & Recreation Department for 12 years as the director of special events and as the marketing and public relations manager. In June of 2009, she become the owner of EG=MC3 Business Solutions. In addition to Fleet Feet Sports, she currently works with several companies in and around the Baton Rouge area planning events such as the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival and is the race director for various distance races that help non profit organizations in fund raising efforts. Megan serves on the board of directors for Girls on the Run & is also a Kappa Delta Alumni, the sorority that in the summer of 2009 became the founding sponsor of The Confidence Coalition. The Coalition brings together the many organizations, individuals and companies (including Girls on the Run) committed to promoting self-esteem and confidence among girls and women. Her love of children and fitness have made her association with Girls on the Run® and Fleet Feet Sports a “natural” fit.
