Training Programs

This is a beginning Walking or running 5K program designed to guide you safely and effectively into becoming a runner while learning valuable information on healthy living. This coached running program offers organized weekly runs, a specific training schedule aimed at a goal event, weekly communication and motivation, special clinics, a special product package, and more! This 10 week program will prepare you for your first (or improved) 5K event.

No Boundaries Program is sponsored by New Balance, providing gear and goodies along the way to your new running lifestyle.

•Spring Session starts the week of February 13

•Fall Session starts the week of August 27

WalkFIT - This program is perfect for people who don't run but want to stay fit by walking. The program slowly and gently builds the length of time that you are able to walk both alone and in a group. WalkFIT is strictly walking and perfect for the beginner exerciser to the advanced walker who can walk 3 miles.

5K – Designed to guide you safely and effectively into running, while learning valuable information on healthy living. Perfect for people who don't run at all and want to, have a hard time starting or are unsure what to do. This program starts out walking and slowly builds running in each week, preparing individuals for a 5K (3.1 mile) race.

NoBo 2.0 – Perfect for those who recently ran their first 5K and want to improve but aren’t yet ready for longer distances. This program will work to improve speed, endurance and performance at the 5K level.

Program Includes:

•A Free No Boundaries New Balance Technical Shirt
•A 10 week flexible workout program, breaking your training down week by week and day by day.
•Weekly coached workouts on Mondays & Thursdays at 6 p.m.

•Track progress and provide feedback & unlimited email access to coaches
•A fabulous, safe and healthy way to get fit and get to a goal
•A safe and supportive environment for all athletic abilities that builds lasting camaraderie and friendships
•Seminars on topics on nutrition, stretching, and injury prevention
•This 10 week program will prepare you for the Get Your Rear in Gear Colon Cancer Awareness 5K in the Spring or Jack O' Lantern Jog 5K in the Fall

 

Join the hundreds of runners Fleet Feet Sports has trained towards a 10K, half or full marathon. Whether its your first one or 100th, this program has helped many Fleet Feet fans reach their long distance goals.

•Weekly Training Tips & Support
•A fun social atmosphere to get you to the start line healthy and prepared for race day
•Online Training Group Support via Facebook – this has proven to be motivating and helpful in maintaining your program
•Weekly Coached Workouts/Clinics on Mondays or Wednesdays at 7 PM

Join Fleet Feet for this Winter Program to help motivate you to stay active in the winter time. 

This program is for walkers AND runners, exercise beginners and exercise fiends. We don't care, we just want you to stay active this winter.

One rule - no whining on the weather or else we can poke jokes at you :)

Program Begins some time in December and ends some time in March.

Join us at any Fleet Feet Sports workout, shop in the store on certain days, volunteer at FF events, earn points, prizes, meet people and have fun!

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:
•A Kickoff Party with refreshments and treats, plus in-store discounts.
•Prizes along the way from key chains, water bottles, to socks to sack packs and more...
•FREE group workouts
•E-mails on special group extracurricular outings
•Fabulous people to workout with and commiserate with on the winter weather
•The program is based on amount of points accrued by participating in workouts and local races. See point system below.
•At the end, the one with the most points will be deemed the Winter Warrior!!!
