The Oxbow Triathlon is being held in the City of New Roads, Pointe Coupee Parish, LA. The City of New Roads is a jewel on the shores of False River. New Roads and Pointe Coupee Parish have much to offer. Be sure to stay and visit, shop and browse. Remember that most of us are visitors to this wonderful part of Louisiana, so be sure to thank our hosts!

1/2 mile of swimming in False River, 18 miles of pedaling on the roads of Pointe Coupee Parish, and 3.1 miles on foot through New Roads. Whether a beginner doing their first triathlon or an experienced triathlete warming up for the New Orleans 70.3, this is the race to kick off your 2010 season!
